Pioneer Title Company is adopting a ‘shades of green’ approach as part of an ongoing commitment to going green. We believe in a more sustainable future for our customers, our employees and our community – we’re making a commitment now to do our part in conserving precious resources, minimizing waste and protecting air quality.

Pioneer Title is making quarterly initiatives in 2008 to:
1. Support homebuyers and the community in going green
2. Reducing waste
3. Conserve resources
4. Protect air quality
5. Enhance employee health and wellness
In the first quarter…
1. Support homebuyers and the community in going green by waiving courier, download doc or recording fees for homes that are certified ENERGY STAR® or LEED for Homes™ and by being a sponsor of the first annual Idaho Green Expo and joining the US Green Building Council Idaho Chapter.
2. Reducing waste by installing recycling stations for paper, cardboard, plastic, metal and glass at all locations and by offering every customer documents on disc, which would save an annual average 1.4 million sheets of paper.
3. Conserve resources by scheduling an energy audit by Idaho Power for our corporate office and moving forward with investing in Idaho Power Company’s Green Power Program for selected locations.
4. Protect air quality by introducing an employee carpool program.
5. Enhance employee health and wellness by using only GREENGUARD®-certified, non-toxic cleaning products.
